Green Salon: CompostModern Highlights
Join us as we enjoy highlights from the 2009 CompostModern Sustainability Conference
CompostModern recast comes to Colorado
At our latest Green Salon we will highlight the February 2009 CompostModern Sustainability Conference in San Francisco with a special webcast presentation.Sustainability is the defining issue of our time. It will eventually become the context within which all design is performed, the lens through which all design is considered. CompostModern 09 took place on Saturday, February 21, 2009, in San Francisco. It was a day of inspiration, fresh infusions of design thinking and hands-on dirty work presented by AIGA San Francisco and AIGA center for Sustainable Design. This interdisciplinary conference explored the range of design thinking necessary to create a socially and ecologically responsible society. Designers, manufacturers and business leaders came together to find inspiration, share knowledge and explore real world opportunities for transforming projects, products and industries. Through the webcast, you, too, can cultivate the seeds sewn to create a sustainable future.
