2nd Annual Bordo Bello Skateboard Art Auction at Andenken Gallery
This year’s Bordo Bello is bigger and better then ever!
AIGA Colorado is proud to host our second annual skateboard art auction at Andenken Gallery at 2990 Larimer St, Denver.
We will be auctioning off decks designed by over 200 local artists and designers, benefiting two youth-focused design and arts charities, VSA Arts of Colorado’s Access Gallery & Youth Design.
This is a chance to recognize Denver’s community of artists and designers, and get people together to encourage the youth to follow their dreams while giving them the tools and support necessary to explore their interests in becoming designers. Bordo Bello has organized mentorship teams between established local designers, artists and students from high schools and colleges in the Colorado area who are eager to learn about design. The boards created by these by these partnerships will be included in the auction, as well as many individual artist’s works.
Tickets can be purchased at the Bordo Bello web site, will be $15 ahead of time and $20 at the door. Boards start at $25 (which is a great deal for a custom deck and unique artwork).
Everyone who comes will be entered to win a collection of door prizes, like a comp ticket to the HOW conference, a 4-pack of rafting tickets, a 4-pack of Loveland Ski Area tickets, Veer Merchandise, a Positiv Skateboard, and a whole lot more!
This evening will be filled with sick entertainment including live graffiti by West High School Mural Club, music from Artist Roster and a live skateboarding demo from the BC Surf & Sport Colorado Skate Team.
Drinks will be provided by Amp Energy Drinks, Izze Sparkling Juice, and beers will be $2. So you ready to RSVP? Let’s go!
