Call for Artists: Heart Art 2010

We need the art of your heart!
The AIGA Heart Art Auction, now in it’s 16th year, is an event in which artists from around the Denver area create and donate works of art that will be auctioned off with 50% of the proceeds benefiting Project Angel Heart. Project Angel Heart is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals to those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. There will be a silent auction as well as a live entertainment throughout the evening. Join us for an evening of eating, drinking, mingling, gazing, gawking, bidding, elbowing and winning, all for a wonderful cause.
The goal for AIGA Heart Art 2010 is to surpass past benefit successes ($16,000 is the feat to beat) by featuring premier art from more than 75 area artists and designers. Be one. Capture your idea on canvas. Express your eros in fiber. Put your all on paper. Then savor the sight of it hanging out (or lying down or angling for compliments) with other generously given work from your gifted fellow artists.
What to Donate
An artisan event, Heart Art remains a great place to find a unique piece of artwork for a very special Valentine’s Day gift
Your art donation may be in the form of original paintings, sculpture, jewelry, furniture and other forms of creative artistry. You may inclue a Heart theme in your piece but it is not required. All two-dimensional artwork must be framed. This event is open to all AIGA members and non-members and those with generous hearts.

Okay, I give up. How do I buy a ticket from you? The Heart Art website says buy em from your website. I have searched all over your site and can’t find where to do this. Seems like
a break down in communication for an AIGA site.

James, I hate to be so critical but there are all kinds of things wrong with this aiga affiliated website that are IMO real embarrassing for them. Including the amateurish design of much of it and not excluding the bum functionality. Way to demo how bad a job you can do, aiga.
