Sixth Annual Design After Dark | SKIN at RedLine Gallery
This year’s Design After Dark promises to be the slickest, sleekest, and sexiest to date
Join the Denver Art Museum’s Design Council for the sixth annual Design After Dark, a dynamic and diverse celebration of design. On Friday, January 22, 2010, RedLine Gallery’s contemporary space will be transformed into this year’s incarnation, SKIN. It promises to be the slickest, sleekest, and sexiest to date.
Design After Dark is a mid-winter party and silent auction that elevates awareness of design. Funds raised will be used to support acquisitions, exhibitions, and other programming for the Department of Architecture, Design and Graphics at the Denver Art Museum. The centerpiece of the event is approximately 30 one-of-a-kind objects created by some of Colorado’s most recognized artists and designers, including Matter Studio, Michael and Katherine McCoy, and cypher 13, to name a few.
We will be auctioning off a snowboard package, courtesy of Burton Snowboards, hand-screened rock posters by Jason Munn of The Small Stakes, a gift certificate to Root Down, objects donated by Herman Miller and West Elm, and a whole lot more!
The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. with signature Benjamin Moore cocktails and a scrumptious menu prepared by Gourmet Fine Catering, In addition to an open bar (with Railyard Ale supplied by local favorite Wynkoop Brewing Company and Crop Organic Vodka), the evening will be filled with SKINtillating music and entertainment well into the night.
Tickets prices range from $35 for those 35 and under (with ID), $60 for Denver Art Museum and Design Council Members, and $75 General admission.
