Why Colorado?
So what does an established professional design community afford our Colorado members? For one, our strength in numbers
allows designers to fulfill AIGA's mission to stimulate thinking about design like never before. As one of the largest
gatherings of designers, the AIGA Design Conference
provides an opportunity to make new friends and connect with old ones, share our experiences around designing, and celebrate our craft
and legacy. Perhaps most important, it allows us to speak directly to the issues facing designers today, by joining an esteemed
roster of culture-shaping speakers in debating the moral, social, strategic and political dimensions of designing.
We are in the middle of one of the most exciting decades design has ever experienced, now that business has begun to
understand the critical role of design in competitive strategy. AIGA Colorado invites all of you to take advantage of the Design Conference

About the Conference

perspectives in our profession: the next generation of designers.
Experience new directions in design, hear from considered voices on the evolution of designing and learn what steps you'll
need to pursue for your work to be relevant well into the 21st century. Join more than 2,500 designers in Denver, Colorado; a
thriving creative and cultural center that's also home to the AIGA Design Archives, the nation's largest permanent collection
of graphic design.
